(Lost Ones) Ronnie Fields
Ronnie Fields played at Farragut Academy in Chicago from 1992-1996 and was a teammate of Kevin Garnett during the 1995 season. Fields had a 50-inch vertical leap!!!! He was a 3-time Parade All American selection (1994-96) and a consensus First Team All American (Parade, USA Today, McDonald's) his senior year. He was also the first sophomore to ever play in the "Best of the Best" game at the Nike All American camp in 1993, a game that featured NBA MVP'S Allen Iverson, Kevin Garnett, and Naismith Prep Player of the Year winners Ron Mercer and Jerod Ward.
In high school he averaged 34 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and 4 blocks a game. Fields was injured in a car accident on February 26, 1996, in which he broke his neck. He had to wear a protective halo while his neck healed. It is believed that Ronnie had a total of 372 dunks in his high school career. He left high school as the third all-time leading scorer in Chicago Public League history with 2,619 points. His high school teammates include Garnett (95), Arizona Wildcat forward Michael Wright (98) and Willie Farley (95).
Ronnie Fields signed a letter of intent at DePaul University in his hometown but was later ruled academically ineligible. He declared himself eligible for the 1996 CBA Draft and was selected in the 7th round (73rd overall) by the LaCrosse Bobcats. He also declared for the 1997 NBA Draft but later withdrew his name. Fields was eligible for the 1998 NBA Draft but went undrafted.

The Beijing National Aquatics Center (simplified Chinese: 北京国家游泳中心; traditional Chinese: 北京國家游泳中心), also known as the National Aquatics Center (国家游泳中心), better known as the Water Cube (水立方), or the "Ice Cube" is an aquatics center that was built alongside Beijing National Stadium in the Olympic Green for the 2008 Summer Olympics. Ground was broken on December 24, 2003, and the Center was completed and delivered for use on January 28, 2008.

With no exterior signage and a barely-marked buzzer to let customers in the locked door, the shop has the feel of a James Bond-style gentleman's club: Purple carpeting covers the floor, a low, green leather couch runs against an ostrich-skin wall, and, opposite the couch, numerous individually lit, built-in cubbyholes display the shop's undeniably cool sneakers. Above the cubbies, more sneakers sit behind locked glass. Featuring the absolute latest and highest-end styles from all the major brands, the sneaker stock rotates often, with new arrivals coming in about once a week. Hot items sell out quickly, however, and in order to make room for the Next Big Thing, Alife doesn't restock. So if you want a certain pair, act fast.

Nike "Beautiul Losers" Dunk Collection
To commemorate the Beautiful Losers release, Nike’s Sportswear’s JESSE LEYVA has also created a series of 22 Beautiful Losers Dunks emblazoned with iconic stills from the movie using the company’s new high-resolution digital printing process. Says Aaron Rose of the project, “We went back to the documentary and pulled frame stills of what we felt were key moments in the narrative. We used these moments to tell the Beautiful Losers story using the shoes as a medium, with the end result being a collection of works of art.” Viewed together, the shoes reflect the overall narrative of the film, and after being exhibited at the NYC and LA “Make Something!” workshops, two sets of the shoes will be auctioned off with proceeds donated to the Children’s Aid Society.

While the W Hotel New York Downtown will take up the first twenty-two floors, the upper levels have been split into furnished residences (Floors 23-30) and customized residences (Floors 33-56). Interior design exceeds expectations, even by W standards, with sleek and functional kitchen built-ins to a translucent wall from the bedroom to a ‘peek-a-boo loo.’
A bit further uptown in the heart of Tribeca, Five Franklin Place is destined be the epitome of luxury residences. The 20-storey building will contain 55 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units that will be set up as duplex lofts on the lower floors; single-level city residents above; plus three triplex penthouses each with a rooftop terrace and serviced by private internal elevators. The building itself, designed by Dutch architect Ben van Berkell of UNStudio, will be wrapped in a series of horizontal black metallic bands – each of which ungulates as it curves around and hugs the frame of the structure. The façade is apparently a direct tribute to the original 19th century built form of cast iron that shaped lower Manhattan – and the metallic surface will reflect light while highlighting the magnificence of the neighboring buildings. 
The building’s façade is not merely about aesthetics, as the bands will also create shading from the daylight, deflect heat, guarantee every residence will have the highest degree of privacy, and simultaneously frame unparalleled views out across Manhattan. The Loft Residences on the lower levels have a double-height living area that maximizes the light entering the space. The height of the great room continues on through a gallery where a white lacquered library wall ascends up into the second level.
