Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki offers a behind-the-scenes look into the production of their collaborative rugs for famed fashion house, Louis Vuitton. Produced in one of India’s more distinguished factories, the hand woven rugs come in a multi-color motif and a Monogramouflage series. Only 20 units of each were made, measuring two and three meters in diameter. A look at the process behind the over-sized pieces can be seen below.
