World"s First Flexible Plasma Screen

Another plasma flat screen TV? Nope, look again, this is a 3-meter wide flexible(bending) flat screen. The plasma display screen is first of its kind by a Japanese company called Shinoda Plasma. This 125-inch flat screen plasma TV was on display at the FPD International exhibition in Japan. Via. GizmoAve.com

With its impressive dimension, it also wows us by weighing a whopping 1.4-kg. Its power consumption is as good if not better than any other plasma screen out there, this flexible screen uses half the power than a conventional plasma TV.

There are some drawbacks, its flexibility is in question. Some asks why certain flexibility features facilitates TV watching. The worst of all is that it doesn"t offer HD yet. This project is still in motion so lets hope we get to see this again in near future. Stay tuned folks.
