For the Japanese city of Wajima, lacquer ware has been ingrained in the cities cultural and historical background for many centuries. This concept takes form on the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi as part of a series of sneakers inspired by some of Japan’s traditional crafts and arts. Two colors of the Wajima Chuck Taylor are seen here and available soon at Flauge but will probably remain as a Japan-only release.
